As part of events dedicated to 'Seniors Week' and 'Tourism Month for Seniors,' older citizens of Uzbekistan are granted a 20% discount on the fare component of train ticket prices.
This benefit is available to pensioners who are citizens of Uzbekistan: women aged over 55 and men aged over 60.
The discount is applied annually during specific periods: 'Seniors Week' is observed from October 2nd to 8th, and 'Tourism Month for Seniors' runs from November 1st to 30th.
The benefit applies to all trains operating within the republic, with the exception of the Afrosiyob high-speed electric train. Tickets eligible for the discount can be purchased both online and at regular railway ticket offices.
