A new state award has been created in Uzbekistan to encourage outstanding workers in the field of education at all levels of the educational system. This was announced by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a meeting with teachers and mentors held the day before the professional holiday.
The head of state emphasized that such a special state award for teachers had not existed before. He proposed naming this award after the Jadid ancestor Abdulla Avloni, who is considered the founder of Uzbek national pedagogy.
