The creation of a new park complex is underway in the Shaykhantakur district of Tashkent, which will include a lake, extensive green areas, as well as equipped spaces for walking, sports, and children's recreation.
The head of the Presidential Administration, Saied Mirziyoyev, visited the territory designated for the future park. She emphasized that the city of Tashkent is in dire need of additional green spaces.
According to Mirziyoyeva, in hot climate conditions, the presence of bodies of water, trees, and shaded areas has a direct positive impact on the quality of life of citizens. The plan for this new area includes the creation of a lake and green zones, as well as the development of infrastructure for family leisure and physical activity.
Saied Mirziyoyeva insisted that such public spaces should appear in all districts of the capital. Furthermore, she stressed the importance of preserving existing greenery and forming new ecologically clean forest areas.
Previously, there was information that a tourist 'Ecopark' would be built in Almalyk, on the territory of the 'Kamalak' mahalla, with the participation of direct foreign investments amounting to approximately 15 million dollars.
