Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz.
Climatologist Erkin Abdulakhatov reported that cool air from the northwest will begin entering Uzbekistan on Sunday and Monday. The most noticeable effect of this air will be felt in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, where the air temperature will reach 30-35 degrees on August 16-17.
Furthermore, on August 17, the coolness will reach other parts of the republic, with temperatures dropping by 2-3 degrees compared to the current week's figures. However, no significant cooling across the entire country is predicted; the most significant weather changes are expected in the northern territories.
It should be noted that it was previously reported that July 2026 in Uzbekistan was significantly above the climatic norm. New absolute temperature records were set in some regions of the country, and in desert areas, the air temperature rose almost to 50 degrees.
