Caicedo began his career at Aucas, where he debuted for the main squad of the Ecuadorian club at the age of 16. In 2022, he moved to Genk after being noticed in the Ecuadorian national team during a tournament held in Brazil. Last season, this right-back played on loan from the Belgian club for Cádiz, playing fifteen matches for the Spanish team.
