The Ministry of Energy of Iran and the Ministry of Energy of Russia held a joint meeting to review the implementation process of the roadmap for electrical cooperation between the two states. During the meeting, the parties emphasized the need to develop interaction in the areas of grid connection, technology transfer, equipment export and import, construction of the Sirik TPP, as well as the creation of joint working groups to accelerate the achievement of strategic goals.
Discussion of the Energy Sector
According to IRNA of the Ministry of Energy, the Iranian Minister of Energy Abbas Aliyabadi and the Russian Minister of Energy Sergey Tsylyov met on July 13 in Tehran. The main topics of discussion were the development of cooperation in the energy sector, especially within the framework of agreements on the roadmap for electrical interaction, as well as a detailed analysis of issues concerning the import and export of equipment, particularly equipment for the energy industry.
