The Ministry of Economy and Finance announced on November 5 that between 2027 and 2028, five major organizations are planned to enter the stock market in Uzbekistan: one airline and four enterprises, as well as one bank.
These companies are undergoing a transformation process and adapting to global capital market standards before the upcoming listing. Among the enterprises preparing for IPO are Uzbekistan Airways, 'National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan', 'Uzbekhydroenergo', 'Uzbektelecom', and 'Uzpromstroybank' (SQB).
The department also presented the results of the initial placement of shares of the National Investment Fund. This year, 35.45% of the fund's shares were placed on the London and Tashkent stock exchanges, amounting to $692 million.
Active work is being conducted with foreign investors in the field of attracting international capital. On October 14, over 250 foreign investors gathered during the Investors Day event, whose investment portfolios are collectively valued at more than $2.5 trillion.
Furthermore, Corporate Governance Day 2026 was held on October 16, dedicated to discussing six key areas for improving corporate governance. Previously, the National Investment Fund of Uzbekistan had already conducted an IPO on the London and Tashkent exchanges, attracting about $700 million.
