The wait for the trailer of Salman Khan's film 'Matrubhumi' is coming to an end as information about its premiere date has emerged. The atmosphere surrounding the long-awaited film 'Matrubhumi: Me War Rest in Peace,' which has been widely discussed among Salman Khan's fans, is heating up. According to reports, the film's trailer may be presented in Mumbai this Friday.
According to Variety, the creators are preparing a large-scale and grand event in the city to take advantage of the festive atmosphere. Although the production company has not yet confirmed the official date and time of the trailer launch, this news has significantly increased fan enthusiasm.
It should be noted that the film was initially announced in July 2025 under the title 'Battle of Galwan,' and preliminary preparations began in 2024. Later, in March 2026, the creators changed the title to 'Matrubhumi.' The film is based on a historical and bloody military clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley on June 15, 2020, which shocked the entire country. In the film, Salman Khan plays the role of a valiant officer of the Indian Army, inspired by Lieutenant Colonel Bikum Mall Santosh.
'Salman Khan Films' is the production brand of this patriotic film, and Apurva Lahiya is directing it. Besides Salman Khan, Chitrangada Singh and Prashant Tamang will also take on key roles.
Reports have surfaced regarding concerns about the portrayal of China in the film. In response, the creators demonstrated a serious approach by making necessary changes to the plot and reshooting several scenes. Recently, the film received a 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC) from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, but the official certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has not yet been obtained.
The tentative release date for the film is set for November 13, but the creators have not yet made an official announcement about its theatrical release. Thus, the upcoming trailer launch in Mumbai could be very significant for viewers, as it may reveal the exact date of the film's appearance in cinemas.
