The Indian company Ultraviolette demonstrated its new electric motorcycle, the X-47 Venom, at the EICMA 2026 exhibition in Milan, Italy. Additionally, the company presented its new 100V electric platform complex and debuted the Tesseract Maxi scooter in the European market for the first time.
The new motorcycle is equipped with radar technology and advanced safety features, setting it apart from standard electric motorcycles. Ultraviolette states that by releasing these products, the company showcases its capabilities in high-performance electric mobility, focusing on enhanced performance, lightweight design, intelligent connectivity, and rider safety.
This new VX-100 architectural complex from Ultraviolette forms the basis for the X-47 Venom motorcycle. The company asserts that the platform was developed to ensure superior speed, increased range, fast charging, and improved acceleration. According to the company, it integrates lightweight subsystems and new battery technology.
The X-47 Venom utilizes the new SRB-11 battery technology and is designed as an all-terrain crossover, making it ready for operation on various road surfaces. Special attention was paid to rider safety alongside performance. In terms of specifications, the X-47 Venom delivers a peak power of 30 kW, equivalent to about 40 hp, and achieves a torque of 550 Nm. The motorcycle's top speed is 155 km/h, and it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. Its mass is 180 kg, and the claimed range under the IDC standard is 323 kilometers. Furthermore, cruise control is provided for comfortable long-distance travel.
A key feature of the motorcycle is the UV Hypersense radar system, which is included as a standard function. This technology helps in understanding surrounding vehicles and road conditions. An integrated camera set is also installed to enhance safety and visibility while riding. The motorcycle is equipped with a dedicated built-in onboard charger, which the company claims is the world's most powerful high-energy density AC charger. It allows the motorcycle to be charged via alternating current (AC) and includes protective features such as surge protection, grounding, and EMI/EMC filtering. The company notes that this charger can operate at full capacity even in very hot weather, from 45 to 50 degrees Celsius, which is particularly important for the Indian climate.
The X-47 Venom incorporates several advanced features that make it technologically unique. Among these is a parking assist function, allowing easy parking in tight spots using the rear camera. The motorcycle is fitted with a 7-inch TFT LCD touchscreen called the UV Interface X. A navigation system from Mappls is also integrated. Riders will have the ability to receive software updates and maintain constant communication with the vehicle through a companion app, where they can access important information and vehicle notifications.
The company also announced a partnership with the renowned voice AI company SoundHound AI. The goal of this collaboration is to simplify communication between the driver and the vehicle using voice commands in electric two-wheelers. With this technology, the driver can activate the voice assistant by saying 'Violette'. Once activated, voice commands can be given to change riding modes, start navigation, or retrieve tire pressure information. Moreover, the driver can ask questions about maintenance, motorcycle usage, and important instructions by voice. Features demonstrated include pre-ride checks, trip statistics, proactive alerts, and service reminders, eliminating the need for the driver to constantly look at the screen.
