Honda unveiled new ADV 125 scooter with multiple features at EICMA 2026 exhibition

The new model from Honda, the Honda ADV 125 scooter, was presented at the EICMA 2026 exhibition. This scooter is positioned as a more affordable alternative to the ADV 160 model and is aimed at urban users.

It is important to note that the company only presented this scooter at the auto show, not released it for sale. The model is equipped with powerful features and an economical engine. It features a 125cc engine.

The Honda ADV 125 is equipped with liquid cooling for its 125cc engine, which generates 12.5 hp and 11.7 Nm of torque. The scooter is capable of quick acceleration and maintaining a cruising speed of up to 90 kilometers per hour, with a top speed reaching 97 kilometers per hour.

In addition to high performance, the scooter boasts fuel efficiency. The company claims it will achieve a fuel consumption rate of 47.6 kilometers per liter. With a fuel tank capacity of 8.1 liters, the scooter can cover a distance of up to 385 kilometers on a single tank.

The ADV 125 has a stylish and muscular appearance that aligns with the design of the company's ADV family. It is equipped with a large windscreen and aggressive dual headlights with integrated daytime running lights. It also features a liftable seat and a raised muffler.

This scooter will be available in four color options: pearlescent falcon grey, pearlescent cool white, matte blue metallic, and matte pearlescent diapro red. A steel tubular frame was used in its construction. It is standardly equipped with a single-channel ABS system. The wheels are 14 inches in diameter in the front and 13 inches in the rear.

The ADV 125 features a 5-inch TFT display that shows all necessary information about the scooter. It also supports Honda's RoadSync function, allowing synchronization with the user's smartphone. This enables music control, receiving notifications, and using navigation directly from the driver's phone.

Additional features include Honda's Smart Key, which allows keyless start. Users can open the seat and fuel cap without using a key. The scooter is also equipped with anti-theft and response functions. Furthermore, it has a USB Type-C charging port, similar to those used in SUVs.

Harley-Davidson introduces Sprint 440: an affordable cruiser with improved design and fuel efficiency

Harley-Davidson, known for its massive cruisers on American roads, has released a new model—the Harley-Davidson Sprint 440. This motorcycle is the most budget-friendly cruiser model from Harley and was developed in collaboration with Hero MotoCorp. Despite its American design and brand, the bike incorporates the strength of Indian engineering.

The Sprint 440, assembled in India, is preparing for its global debut. Notably, this motorcycle, manufactured in India, will become a new representative of the American brand on roads worldwide. It differs from the existing X440 in its design and riding experience.

The model features a long and low silhouette, wide handlebars, and a comfortable seat, giving it the look of a traditional cruiser. The company plans to launch this bike in markets around the world. The first presentation will take place at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy, with deliveries to America scheduled for 2027.

The new Sprint 440 is built on the 440cc platform, but its appearance significantly differs from the X440. While the X440 has a roadster style, the Sprint 440 fully aligns with the image of a classic cruiser. The model is equipped with a low and long silhouette, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a downward-sloping rider seat, and rearward-curved handlebars.

Furthermore, the bike includes a small rear fender, a separate stepped passenger seat, and a low-mounted exhaust system. The design is aimed at customers who prefer the classic look of a cruiser combined with a comfortable ride.

The Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 is fitted with a single-cylinder 440cc engine. This air and oil-cooled engine generates 26.7 hp at 6000 rpm and 38 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. The engine is connected to a six-speed gearbox and equipped with assist and slipper clutch systems.

The engine parameters are similar to the X440, but the company does not position the Sprint 440 as a high-speed or sporty motorcycle. The main focus is on providing better low-speed torque and a comfortable riding experience, which is characteristic of most cruisers. The company claims the motorcycle can achieve a fuel consumption of about 34 kilometers per liter.

Despite this, a compromise was reached regarding the fuel tank: the Sprint 440 has a 9-liter tank, whereas the X440 sold in India is equipped with a 13.5-liter tank. The company reduced the tank volume due to the cruiser's compact design.

To meet customer needs, the company will also offer seat options for tall and short riders. This will allow drivers to choose a seat according to their height.

Despite its classic design, the Sprint 440 retains modern features. It is equipped with a 3.5-inch round TFT instrument cluster. Additionally, the motorcycle features a full LED lighting system and a USB Type-C port above the headlight.

The company will also provide a range of optional accessories, including a detachable windscreen, side panniers, a passenger backrest, engine protection, and alternative handlebar designs. These accessories will allow owners to customize the bike for their needs, whether for daily commuting or weekend trips.

Harley-Davidson has set the starting price for the Sprint 440 in the UK at £4995 (equivalent to approximately 6.5 lakh Indian Rupees). Deliveries are expected to begin next year. It is important to note that the final assembly of motorcycles intended for America will be carried out at the Harley-Davidson plant in York, Pennsylvania.

Hyundai Bayon enters the Creta-Seltos segment, differentiating itself from competitors

The Hyundai Bayon has entered the Indian market. The company introduced this model to the global market at the beginning of this month. The Bayon is the second mid-sized SUV from the company in India and is offered at a lower price than the Creta, although it will compete with this model as well.

Hyundai launched it with a starting price of ₹9.99 lakh, including export duties. The most expensive version of the car will cost ₹17.99 lakh, including export duties. The Bayon has entered a segment where many cars are present, including models such as Creta, Duster, Sierra, Seltos, Victoris, and Grand Vitara.

The Bayon is equipped with numerous features. It is worth noting that it is the most compact SUV in this segment. Its length is 4245 mm, while the largest SUV in this group, the Seltos, has a length of 4460 mm. In terms of width, the car ranks fourth with a width of 1810 mm. Its height is 1605 mm, and the wheelbase is 2600 mm, with a trunk volume reaching 505 liters and a ground clearance of 205 mm.

The Hyundai Bayon is fitted with the same 1.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine as the Creta. This engine provides 115 hp and 143.8 Nm of torque and is available with a 6-speed manual transmission and CVT. This engine is also found in the Creta and Seltos. However, other SUVs competing with the Bayon offer more engine options that are not available in the Bayon.

The Bayon is available only with front-wheel drive. In contrast, the Victoris, Grand Vitara, and Hyryder in this segment offer both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Hyundai confirmed that next year the brand will release this model in a CNG engine version.

Currently, CNG engine options are only available in the Grand Vitara, Victoris, and Toyota Hyryder. Furthermore, the Duster, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Victoris, and Toyota Hyryder are equipped with a hybrid engine option. In terms of powertrains, the Bayon currently offers the fewest options. In the Creta and Seltos, in addition to the petrol engine, there are turbocharged petrol and diesel engine options.

Although the starting price of the Bayon is ₹9.99 lakh, its top-spec variant, which includes exclusive features like AI Assistant, costs ₹17.99 lakh. When compared to competitors, this top variant is more affordable. Nevertheless, it lacks options for turbocharged petrol, diesel, hybrid, and CNG engines. The top version of the Seltos costs ₹21.82 lakh, and the top version of the Creta costs ₹20.46 lakh.
