Red alert declared in UAE due to fog and reduced visibility

According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) forecast, the weather in the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, November 3rd, is expected to be mostly clear or partly cloudy.

On Tuesday morning, NCM issued red and yellow warnings regarding fog, alerting the population to reduced visibility due to dense fog covering the southern regions of the country.

The Abu Dhabi Police strongly recommended drivers to pay attention to changing speed restrictions displayed on electronic road signs.

Humidity levels are expected to rise during the night and on Wednesday morning in some coastal and inland areas, which may also lead to the formation of fog or haze.

Temperatures across the country will fluctuate between 19°C and 39°C; the minimum temperature in Abu Dhabi is expected to be 26°C, and in Dubai—27°C. In Ras Al Khaimah, temperatures are predicted to drop to 23°C.

Light to moderate southeasterly winds are expected, which may then shift to northwesterly and occasionally intensify, reaching speeds of 35 km/h from a base speed of 10–20 km/h. The sea in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea will be calm.
