Director of 'Uletayee Strela' conceived a scene with patriotic slogans among Pakistanis

The film 'Uletayee Strela,' created as part of Karan Johar's production, is demonstrating successful box office results, achieving a gross collection of 50 crore in India. This spy-comedy featured actors such as Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Gulshan Grover, Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, and Mukul Dev.

Following the release of 'Uletayee Strela,' the film received positive reviews. Director Akash Kaushik, who also wrote the screenplay, shared his thoughts on the success in an interview with Free Press Journal. He recounted where the idea for creating this film originated.

Akash mentioned that he had been interested in patriotic films since childhood, citing 'Border' as one of his favorites. He recalled how often he saw characters like Sunny Deol utter phrases such as 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' and 'Jai Hind,' which brought him joy. It was then that the thought arose to have neighbors say these words too.

Since 'Uletayee Strela' was Akash Kaushik's debut film as a director, he faced certain difficulties, although he received good support in his first attempt. He admitted that the process was not easy but became a very joyful experience for him. As a screenwriter, he also needed time to gain people's trust.

Despite initial apprehensions, Akash received support from producers and the cast, who believed in his vision. He emphasized that 'Uletayee Strela' is not just a film; it combines comedy, suspense, action, and many unexpected twists, constantly changing genres. Although everyone initially felt some fear, they all supported his work, and he is very happy with the attention the film is receiving.

Various protests are currently taking place across the country. Recently, demonstrations were held at Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi, which Bollywood veteran Nasiruddin Shah attended. He spoke in support of the students and criticized the government, calling himself an 'intellectual Naxal.' His statement caused a strong resonance and criticism from all sides.

Anna Kapoor was also drawn attention in connection with the reaction to Nasiruddin Shah's statements. Commenting on the actor's words, Anna Kapoor told a news agency that while he may be a master of good dialogues, he doubts how deeply he thinks about the welfare and interests of the country. He noted that he has many questions for people who make such statements, emphasizing that it is democracy that allows such people to openly express their opinions, make such statements, and hold rallies.

It turned out that Nasiruddin Shah had previously published a video featuring a badge with the inscription 'intellectual Naxal.' He supported the students of Jamia Millia Islamia University who were protesting demanding the restoration of the student council in the university. In this video, Nasiruddin Shah stated: 'I proudly declare that I am an intellectual Naxal. I do not know what other names the security guards have given me. Sometimes they call me a traitor to the Motherland, sometimes a divisive group, and much more.'

Over the past few months, Nasiruddin Shah has been supporting student protests through social media. Last week, he also supported the demonstration of students from Satyajit Ray Institute of Cinema and Television in Kolkata. Anna Kapoor has previously spoken about the right to protest.
