Materials scientists from China have achieved an increase in the area of perovskite modules without reducing their efficiency. To achieve this result, they applied a method of cooling the wet perovskite film directly before the vacuum processing process, which allowed them to slow down its crystallization process.
The resulting mini-module, which has an area of 19.48 square centimeters, demonstrated a certified efficiency level of 23.9 percent. Data on the conducted research were officially published in the scientific journal Nature Communications.
