After the Spanish coach Jose Maria Mendes left his post due to health problems, the federation began considering a number of candidates—both local and foreign—for the position of head coach of the national team.
Based on the analysis conducted and proposals made, Bahodir Akhmedov was appointed as the head coach of the team in accordance with the decision of the Executive Committee of the Futsal Federation of Uzbekistan.
