Reports suggest that Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan might appear on screen together again. Rumors are circulating that Salman Khan could play an important role in the sequel to the cult classic from 1993, 'Khalnayak,' titled 'Khalnayak Returns.' The creators are developing the character of a police officer, basing it on the superstar.
The film was originally directed by Subhash Ghai, where Sanjay Dutt played the role of Ballu, and Jackie Shroff and Madhuri Dixit also participated.
According to information obtained by Mid Day sources, the scriptwriting team is working on a special character for Salman Khan. It is anticipated that this character will be a kind helper police officer who will play a key role in the plot and support Sanjay Dutt's character. This supporting role influences the development of the story.
The creators envision the role of a police officer who is also a person with a pure heart to enhance Sanjay Dutt's image. Who can better play this supporting role than Salman? Since the script is still under development, the final cast has not yet been confirmed.
Nevertheless, Salman Khan's participation is not yet decided. The film is in the scriptwriting phase, and the casting decision will only be made after the script is ready.
Commenting on the possibility of Salman's involvement in 'Khalnayak Returns,' Subhash Ghai stated that making any final statements now would be premature. He emphasized that it is too early to say since the script is still being written, and only after the script is completed will the situation become clear. If Salman joins this film, it will be the second joint project with Subhash Ghai after the film 'Yuvraj' in 2008.
