Motorola has announced the release of its new premium smartphone named Signature 27. This device will be equipped with a 200 MP periscope camera, the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, and an audio system from Bang & Olufsen. The global launch date for the phone is confirmed as November 5th, and preparations for its presentation in India are also underway.
Motorola announced the release date through its official social media accounts, hinting that the device will feature an improved design and a premium user experience. The company is paying special attention to enhancing the camera, processor, and sound system specifications.
The global market will see the Motorola Signature 27 on November 5th. The company had previously confirmed the launch of this smartphone in India. It was previously showcased at India Mobile Congress 2026 in October. Hints about the publication of new information regarding the phone also appeared on the company's Indian website in November. According to some reports, the start of sales in India may coincide with the global date—November 5th.
Nevertheless, official details regarding prices and the exact start date of sales in India are still awaited; the company may disclose this information during the presentation.
The main feature of the Motorola Signature 27 may be its camera. The phone will be equipped with a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens, which allows capturing close-up images of distant objects. The company may also provide up to 100x digital zoom support.
Furthermore, the smartphone will feature a main 50 MP Sony LYTIA 910 sensor, which supports Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). This feature helps minimize image blur caused by hand shake during photography. The device's rear panel has a quad-camera configuration, but details about the sensors of the other cameras have not yet been revealed; information about the ultra-wide and other cameras will become clear after the launch.
The Motorola Signature 27 will receive the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor. This new flagship chipset is built on a 2nm technology. The company is developing it to ensure high performance in gaming and artificial intelligence (AI) tasks.
It is expected that thanks to this processor, users will be able to enjoy a higher quality experience when running demanding games, video editing, and multitasking. To prevent overheating, Motorola has implemented the ArcticMesh cooling system. According to the company, it includes a 3D vapor chamber that is 40 percent larger than the previous one, and it utilizes liquid metal, copper mesh, and special thermal gel to maintain a stable temperature during long, intensive loads.
Another significant change in the Motorola Signature 27 is the integration of the Bang & Olufsen (B&O) audio system. This will be the first Motorola smartphone to use this brand's audio tuning. Previously, Motorola used Bose sound design in its premium models, but the audio partner has changed in the new device.
Bang & Olufsen is known for its high-quality audio products. It was also reported that the phone will offer various sound profiles optimized for listening to music, watching movies, playing games, and podcasts.
