The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, met with Kamilhan Suleyman Yazici, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Anadolu Group, in Ankara. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss issues of modernizing the SamAuto automotive plant and implementing new investment projects in Uzbekistan.
During the negotiations, both sides noted that the holding's investments in the production of non-alcoholic beverages and the automotive industry of Uzbekistan demonstrate the company's confidence in the reforms being carried out in the country.
Special attention was paid to additional projects for the modernization of SamAuto in Samarkand, increasing the plant's production capacity, and expanding product exports.
Furthermore, the participants discussed the possibilities of a major Turkish retail chain entering the Uzbek market, as well as the construction of a livestock complex and the creation of facilities for meat and dairy production.
