Construction of a park with an artificial lake covering 0.5 hectares will begin in Tashkent

Work has begun in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on a project to create a new park equipped with an artificial lake and modern recreation areas. This public area is planned for development in the Almazar district.

According to the district administration, the area designated for improvement is located on Keles Yuli Street, between the Small Ring Road and Karakamish Street.

The artificial lake within the project will cover an area of 5,017 square meters, have a depth of 2 meters, and be capable of holding 10,000 cubic meters of water. Furthermore, the park includes plans for pedestrian and bicycle paths totaling 2 kilometers.

It is planned to plant 200 new trees. The district administration reported that existing mature trees will remain in place during construction and landscaping work. Some smaller trees will be transplanted to other suitable locations under the supervision of specialists.

The main goal of this project is to improve the local environment and territory. After completion, the park is intended to become a recreational area for local residents and visitors.

The administration has not yet provided information regarding the expected completion date of the work.
