Brain-Computer Interface Startup NeuroXess Raises 700 Million Yuan in Series B Round

The Chinese startup NeuroXess, which specializes in brain-computer interfaces, has successfully raised 700 million yuan in its Series B funding round. The leaders of this round were SDIC Juli, Shenzhen Capital Group, and Qinzhi Capital.

The funds raised will be used to support clinical trials in several centers, submit regulatory applications, expand production capacity, and develop next-generation products.

NeuroXess creates implantable systems that combine flexible electrodes with wireless data and power transmission capabilities. This system is designed for decoding speech and movement, as well as controlling external devices.

The company reported that it has completed 65 clinical cases and launched a registration trial in July covering nearly 20 hospitals. Furthermore, NeuroXess is building a 14,300 square meter production complex, which is planned to ensure an annual output of 10,000 systems.
