10 locations from the series Edgerunners 2 that can be visited in the game Cyberpunk 2077

The series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, released on Netflix on October 20, 2026, and consisting of 10 episodes, presents a Night City extremely faithful to the universe of the game Cyberpunk 2077. This was because the animation team used a virtual camera within the game itself to research the settings for the new season, allowing for the recreation of detailed scenes.

Below are listed ten locations from the series that players can explore in the game, following the order of appearance in the anime.

The narrative begins with an operation at the Arasaka Industrial Park, located in Arroyo, in the Santo Domingo district. In this location, Weak and his group try to complete the job, and the unfolding of the plan sets the tone for the subsequent story; the building shown in the scene can be inspected within the game.

Another highlight is an abandoned hotel in Northside, in Watson, which becomes the territory of the Totentanz gang, serving as the setting for the introduction of a central character of the season. To access this location, one must use the Pershing St fast travel point.

A considerable part of the season takes place in an apartment located in Kabuki, also in Watson, where the protagonists define their next steps. This apartment is a few floors above the Allen Street fast travel point, and the sofa where D spends many nights is recognizable to anyone who enters.

The All Foods Plant functions as a fast travel point and the setting for the mission The Pickup. In the series, Weak visits this location, but the outcome differs from his expectations; the interior only becomes accessible during the mission, and it is only possible to observe externally through photo mode, since the internal setting of the anime does not exactly match that of the game.

A building in Little China, in Watson, serves as the stage for the first demonstration of Capri's abilities and its impact on D. Although the building is closed, the adjacent street is available for visiting, and the nearest fast travel point is Bradbury & Buran.

The facade of Kang Tao is briefly shown in the series, indicating that conflicts transcend the streets. In the game, the company headquarters is inaccessible, but its logo can be seen from Corpo Plaza, near the Arasaka Tower fast travel point.

El Coyote Cojo, located in Heywood, is a meeting point for the characters. This bar is located in The Glen and has two nearby fast travel points: El Coyote Cojo itself and Megabuilding H3.

On top of Megabuilding H8, in Japantown, Westbrook, a crucial conversation takes place that changes the course of the story. In the game, the resident of this location is Hiromi, belonging to the Tyger Claws, who leads the Clouds, and this visit occurs during the Pisces mission.

Talia invites Roman to watch a movie outdoors, but the night involves more than just the film. This drive-in is located in North Oak, in Westbrook, and the fast travel point with the same name takes the player directly to the entrance.

In a quick moment, Roman's camera focuses on a burning vehicle. This scene takes place at the Columbarium, in North Oak, in Westbrook, and anyone in the open world of the game can find references to the first season of Edgerunners.

Cyberpunk 2077 receives update 2.5 with new missions, mods, and cosmetic content

The city of Night City continues to offer a wealth of content with the release of game update 2.5. Detailed notes for this patch are available on the title's official portal.

The studio had announced this update on Tuesday, October 20th, coinciding with the arrival of the ten episodes of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 on Netflix. The live stream (REDstream) took place on October 21st at 12 AM Brasília time on YouTube, Twitch, and Steam platforms, and the full notes were released shortly after on the game's official website.

One of the narrative highlights is the side mission called Repression, which takes place before the events of the second season. To access it, the player must complete the mission 'The Heist,' finish two gigs for Wakako, and wait for her message. Completing this mission rewards a set of five items inspired by the King. This mission follows the recent work of the Weak Kingsley team and uses the same voice actors from the anime, although the developers have refrained from providing details to prevent spoilers.

The update also introduces the HKGN 102.0 FM radio station, which exclusively plays music from both seasons of Edgerunners, totaling 16 tracks. Furthermore, the 'Welcome to Paradise' mission offers V a guided tour of the metropolis, narrated by Richard Night, which may present a distorted perspective of Night City's history. The studio classified this achievement as a 'cozy' mission, focused on lore and containing an element of mystery. To unlock it, the player needs to finish 'The Heist' and reach Credibility level 15.

The map now features 12 Minor Arcana cards distributed throughout. Reading any of them initiates a continuation of 'The Mad Ballad,' and collecting all of them results in a special reward. The tarot menu has been updated to differentiate between Major and Minor Arcana.

Mod support is available through mod.io for PC, Mac, PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2 (the latter will receive the update later). Users can manage and install mods directly from the menu. CDPR refers to this initial feature as a curated mod selection, which will be expanded over time.

On consoles, saved files containing modifications will have their trophies and achievements disabled, indicated by an icon in the Load Game menu. During the broadcast, Paweł Sasko confirmed that the menu supports adult mods and warned players against installing too many mods simultaneously, as this can cause game instability.

A long-desired community feature, Double Trouble, has been added to the Morale tree. This feature allows for a new playstyle using two weapons simultaneously and adds four more auxiliary perks. This functionality applies to Power category pistols and revolvers; shotguns and rifles are excluded. Although the bonuses from both weapons remain valid when used together, the developers mentioned the existence of a drawback without specifying which one.

The Photography Mode has received additions, including new poses allowing the player to show V carrying a weapon in each hand. Additionally, frames inspired by the Cyberpunk Trading Card Game have been included, allowing screenshots to be turned into cards.

Cybernetic customization has seen a significant advancement for those wishing to alter V's appearance: it is now possible to modify the look of hand implants. There are five glamorous options, plus five new characters scattered across Night City, identified on the map with a spray paint icon. Each character resides in a dedicated shop, featuring an introduction scene, voice acting, and exclusive animations. Simply equipping the implant and visiting one of these locations allows switching the appearance, totaling 40 new looks.

Five clothing collections have been added to the shops: MaxiWear (available in Heywood, Arroyo, and Little China), Jinguji (in Downtown), NetWatch (in Kabuki and Japantown), and IconAmerica (in Pacifica, Badlands, and Northside). A fifth set will be released at a later date, without a set schedule. The US Agent infiltrator outfit can be found in Kabuki and Japantown, and four TWINTONE visuals for the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech will be made available via Twitch Drops.

V can also use hairstyles that were previously exclusive to NPCs and restricted to certain body types.

Update 2.5 will launch on October 22nd for PC, Mac (via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. PC players using Battle.net will receive the content only on November 10th. The Switch 2 and Mac App Store versions are expected
