The State Department of Transit of Bahia (Detran-BA) has released the list of accepted registrations for the CNH da Gente program, which offers 20 thousand opportunities to obtain a National Driver's License (CNH) free of charge. Interested parties can now check this list through the official state government portal.
This publication corresponds to a phase of the selection process and does not guarantee the candidate's selection. The final definition of those selected and classified is scheduled for November 16th.

It is essential that participants follow official communications and respect the schedules established in the public notice so as not to miss subsequent phases.
What happens after the result?
Once the final result is published, selected individuals will have a period of 30 days to proceed with the service at any Detran-BA unit. The service must be carried out at the unit corresponding to the address provided during registration.
Who can participate in the program?
The CNH da Gente program is managed by Detran-BA in collaboration with the Secretariat of Assistance and Social Development (Seades). This initiative aims to increase access to licensing, assist in entering the job market, and promote social inclusion.
Public Notice 002/2026 allocates 20 thousand spots for people registered in the Unified Registry for Federal Government Social Programs (CadÚnico), covering various areas of Bahia. Additionally, Public Notice 001/2026 offered 294 spots specifically for residents of the Vitória da Conquista region, including the municipalities of Anagé, Barra do Choça, Encruzilhada, Tremedal, and Cândido Sales. The list corresponding to this second public notice was also made available on the official portal.
