Caravana Verger
Caravana Verger arrived in Caruaru bringing a free exhibition composed of 80 photographs by Pierre Verger. These images depict Brazilian popular culture and were produced during the 1940s and 1950s, documenting customs, characters, and cultural manifestations of the country.
The passage of this project through the city establishes a dialogue with the photographer's visit to the municipality in 1947, a period when he recorded the Caruaru Fair and the work of Mestre Vitalino. The exhibition will be available free of charge until November 1st, at the Railway Station, in Caruaru.
