The National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) has released the registration confirmation card for Enem 2026. This document details the location where each participant will take the assessments and must be accessed through the Participant Page using the gov.br account.
For those facing difficulties accessing their account—whether due to forgotten passwords, loss or change of mobile device, or lack of access to the registered email—the federal government provides several recovery procedures, whose alternatives depend on the specific circumstances of each account.
The confirmation card serves as an official record where the candidate can verify the test location, in addition to obtaining the registration number, exam dates and times, the selected foreign language option (English or Spanish), and information about specialized assistance or treatment by social name, if requested and approved.
The Enem 2026 exams are scheduled for November 8th and 15th. According to data provided by Inep, a total of 5,055,818 people had their registrations validated and are eligible to participate in the exam.
It is important to note that if the intention is only to view the confirmation card, this should not be the first access to the gov.br platform. The password recovery guidance is specifically intended for candidates who already possessed or created the account during the registration process and lost access due to reasons such as forgetting, losing, or stealing their phone.
How to recover gov.br account access
If the candidate has forgotten the password, they must follow the indicated steps: enter their CPF and click 'Continue'. Then, on the next page, select the 'I forgot my password' option. The system will then present the available recovery methods, the order of which may change depending on the validation methods offered to the user.
The user must choose between facial recognition, use of accredited banks, email, or mobile phone. In the case of facial recognition, instructions must be followed to validate identity through the gov.br application; if on a computer, the application must be used on the mobile phone to scan the QR Code displayed on the screen. If on the mobile phone, the internal guidelines of the application must be followed. After validation, the system will guide the completion of the recovery.
Authentication via accredited banks requires selecting a listed financial institution and performing the authentication within the banking environment. After identity confirmation, the user must follow instructions to set a new password. If the email option is available, the candidate must check the registered email address, request the security code, and enter it on the gov.br page to then create a new password.
If access to the registered email is impossible, the mobile phone alternative must be chosen, requesting the code via SMS and providing it on the website to register the new password. If access to the registered mobile phone is also not possible, the user must select 'I do not have access to this phone' and look for the 'Go to form' option, if presented.
By filling out and submitting the service request form, the goal is to request the modification of the email registered in the gov.br account, not to guarantee immediate password recovery, as this procedure may require additional steps and waiting for support guidance.
For those who lost or changed their phone and cannot generate the access code, especially if two-factor verification is active, the code may be linked to the previous device. In these cases, the user must look for the 'I am having difficulty generating the code' option and subsequently 'Start recovery', if such functionality is available.
The government also offers an alternative recovery method that uses an email previously registered in the application, requiring facial recognition. If all procedures fail, it is still possible to recover the account using the National Identity Card (CIN), provided the gov.br application is updated and the physical document is in the individual's possession.
More about the confirmation card
Although presenting the confirmation card is not mandatory on the day of the test, Inep strongly advises the candidate to print and bring the document with them for reference, if necessary.
After consulting the card, Inep suggests some important actions: researching the exact address of the test location, assessing the distance and time required for travel, and, if possible, simulating the route on a Sunday, a period when traffic and public transport flow differs.
Considering that the gate closes at 1 p.m., Inep's recommendation is for participants to arrive at the test location by 12 p.m., which helps prevent possible delays on the exam day.
