According to the National Statistical Committee, a total of 10,306,786 foreign citizens arrived in Uzbekistan for tourism purposes from January to September 2026.

Customs duties for international courier shipments will be reduced by 20 percent
According to the document, starting from November 1, 2026, the current customs duty rate for clearing international courier shipments will be reduced by 20 percent.
As a result of this change, the customs duty rate will amount to 7,040 UZS per kilogram starting from November 1.
Currently, the applicable customs duty rate constitutes 2 percent of the base calculation amount (BHM). Furthermore, the BHM is set at 440,000 UZS starting from September 1, 2026, which equals 8,800 UZS per kg.
After the 20 percent reduction in the rate, the duty amount is expected to drop to 1.6 percent of the BHM per kilogram (7,040 UZS per kilogram based on the current BHM).
