The Chevrolet Trailblazer, a seven-seater SUV manufactured by Chevrolet, is being sold in dealerships for prices lower than R$ 390 thousand.
On the Webmotors portal, zero-mileage units of the High Country version, model 2025/2026, were found with starting prices at R$ 388,900. This value represents a reduction of R$ 33,690 compared to the official list price of R$ 422,590, which corresponds to the 2027 line. There are also sporadic listings at an even lower price, R$ 379,900.
With these promotional prices, the Trailblazer is below the list price of the Toyota SW4, which starts at R$ 417,590 in the five-seater SRX Platinum configuration. Chevrolet itself offers discounts, but these are restricted to direct sales to legal entities (CNPJ), where the High Country costs R$ 399,161 in October.
Despite the reduced price, the SUV's sales volume has not improved. According to Fenabrave data, the Trailblazer registered 2,576 registrations between January and September, compared to the 9,917 registered by the SW4, almost four times higher.
In the first days of October, specifically up to the 24th, 231 Chevrolet units were sold against 1,044 Toyota units. The segment leader, the SW4, also has offers in dealerships while Toyota awaits the launch of its new generation, expected in 2027.
Even with the price reduction, the Trailblazer remains more expensive than the GWM Haval H9, another seven-seater competitor, whose top version, the Selection, is quoted at R$ 339 thousand.
In terms of performance, the Trailblazer is equipped with a 2.8 turbodiesel engine, generating 207 hp and 52 kgfm, coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission and 4x4 traction system. Chevrolet reports that the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 180 km/h. Fuel consumption, according to Inmetro measurement, is 9.4 km/l in the city and 11.6 km/l on the highway.
The SUV dimensions are 4.89 m in length, 1.90 m in width, 1.86 m in height, and 2.85 m in wheelbase. The trunk space accommodates 205 liters with all seven seats used and increases to 554 liters when the third row is folded down.
For the 2027 line, Chevrolet will also offer the limited edition Midnight series, which features adaptive suspension for off-road use, priced at R$ 438,590.
