STET Exam in Bukhara will run from October 25 to November 21; security measures strengthened

The STET 2026 exam, intended for candidates preparing to become teachers in Bukhara, starts today, October 25, and will last until November 21, 2026. The exam will be conducted in an online format, and strict security measures have been adopted to prevent any violations.

The allocation of spots for applicants will be carried out using computer software, and observation will be maintained at the examination sites using video surveillance cameras and signal jammers.

To ensure the exam is conducted calmly and correctly, permanent marshals and armed police forces will be stationed at the centers. In addition to using video surveillance cameras, jammers will also be installed. The purpose of these measures is to prevent cheating and other illegal actions during the testing.

Instructions regarding the dress code for STET exam participants have also been issued. According to these guidelines, candidates are prohibited from entering the examination center wearing shoes and socks. Instead, participants are advised to come in slippers or slip-ons and follow all instructions published for this center.

The first session of the exam is scheduled to begin at 9 am. Candidates are advised to check the information about the arrival time and the details of the examination center in their pass. It is necessary to leave with enough time to avoid rushing upon arrival at the venue.

Changes have been made to the exam schedule. The exam, which was originally supposed to take place on November 4, has now been postponed to November 21, 2026. Applicants whose date has been changed must adjust their travel and preparation plans according to the updated schedule. The notice issued by the council clearly states that STET cancels only the exam scheduled for November 4; other exams will proceed according to the established schedule.
