The municipality of Macaé will organize the debut of Macaé TEC in November, an event that celebrates National Science and Technology Week. The initiative is promoted by the Municipal Executive Secretariat of Science, Technology, and Innovation.
The activities are scheduled to take place between November 26th and 28th, covering Thursday to Saturday, and will be held at the Jornalista Roberto Marinho Convention Center, located in the São José do Barreto neighborhood.
Access to the event will be free, including entry and parking every day, and no prior registration is required for participants. Furthermore, on Saturday, the 28th, the program will feature attractions from Experience X and XGames 2026, which will extend until Sunday, the 29th, with cross competitions and other interactive experiences.
The main objective of Macaé TEC is to bring science and innovation closer to the daily life of the community, offering dynamic and accessible integration. The organizers plan a variety of immersive activities and technological attractions aimed at children, youth, and adults, aiming to stimulate curiosity and show how scientific advancement drives social progress.
