State employees of Tocantins will have four days off due to change in optional holiday

The government of Tocantins promoted a change in the optional holiday, moving the original date of October 28th to Friday, the 30th. This change will result in a period of four consecutive days off for state public servants.

The new optional holiday date will be added to the weekend and the All Souls' Day holiday, which occurs on November 2nd. This determination was formalized and disclosed on Friday, the 23rd, through the State Official Gazette.

With this modification, public offices must maintain their normal activities on October 28th. It is important to note that this exemption from work does not cover essential services, such as health, public security, tax inspection sectors, and others, which need to establish specific regimes to ensure the continuity of service.
