The Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, issued strict directives regarding the conduct of this examination due to the expected large number of candidates. Special attention was paid to issues of security, transportation, and crowd management.
Officials were instructed to ensure the unimpeded arrival of every applicant at the examination venue and guarantee its smooth completion. The UP PET 2026 is scheduled for October 25, October 30, and November 1. Currently, 3,541,297 candidates have registered.
The examination will be conducted in two shifts: the first shift from 10:00 to 12:00, and the second from 15:00 to 17:00. The exam will take place in 1372 centers across 60 districts of the state.
To prevent students from facing any difficulties during the exams, instructions were given to strengthen security measures not only within the examination centers but also at railway stations, bus terminals, and major roads. Leaders are mandated to maintain uninterrupted movement in crowded areas and deploy the necessary police personnel.
The importance of constant monitoring of examination centers and storage facilities using video surveillance cameras is also emphasized. Furthermore, special attention is being paid to organizing assistance for candidates arriving from other districts.
Measures have been provided for participants from other districts, including arrangements for buses and accommodation. Instructions include the necessity of organizing appropriate conditions at stations, bus terminals, and other key points. It is planned to establish aid points for female candidates. The administration is mandated to continuously monitor the situation regarding safety, crowd control, and traffic during the examination period.
