The head coach of the Uzbekistan national football team, Fabio Cannavaro, could potentially take on the role of head coach at a club from Mexico or the USA. The Italian specialist has begun working with a Latin American agency to find suitable offers.
According to a report by the Mexican television channel TUDN, Cannavaro has signed an agreement with a representative agency operating in Latin America. The main task of this partnership is to find employment options for the coach in the leagues of Mexico (Liga MX) or North America (MLS). The agency will be responsible for studying the prospects of receiving favorable offers from sports clubs in these countries.
Currently, there is no information that the Italian specialist is negotiating with any specific team or has already reached an agreement with a particular club.
It was previously known that Cannavaro plans to continue leading the Uzbekistan national team at least until the 2027 Asian Cup. In this tournament, teams such as Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran, and Australia will compete for the championship title, as well as Jordan and Iraq strengthening their positions.
