Investors will closely monitor any potential downward revision of the FY27 revenue growth forecast amid concerns over demand in certain segments. It is projected that the adjusted profit after tax (PAT) will increase by approximately 10 percent in the September quarter, and the total contract value (TCV) is estimated to be in the range of $2.5 to $3 billion.

JSW Steel Second Quarter Forecast

JSW Steel is expected to demonstrate solid net profit growth in Q2FY27. This growth will be supported by stable steel prices, which may partially offset seasonal pressure on profitability.

Meanwhile, prices for hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils (HRC and CRC) rose by approximately 21–22 percent year-on-year and 3–4 percent quarter-on-quarter, respectively. Conversely, prices for primary rebar decreased by about 3 percent quarter-on-quarter, and semi-finished product prices fell by about 1 percent.
