AR Rahman spoke about a fan's prediction regarding the music for 'Ramayana' in 2014

Musician AR Rahman shared an interesting story related to 'Ramayana'. During the album launch event on October 21st in Chennai, he recounted receiving an email from an individual more than ten years ago.

This person claimed to have dreamt that Rahman was composing music for the epic. Recalling this incident, AR Rahman told the audience that in 2014, a man named Satish contacted him and mentioned his dream. Before reading the message, he stated: 'I want to share one thing. In 2014, a gentleman named Satish said that I would be composing music for 'Ramayana'. '

The letter read: 'You appeared to me in a dream early in the morning. I am sure it is true. You are performing concerts all over India and around the world, presenting the great epic 'Ramayana'. '

Currently, Rahman is involved in the project 'Ramayana: Rise of a Legend'. This film, based on Valmiki's epic, is a live-action movie that will be released in two parts. He is creating the music in collaboration with Oscar winner Hans Zimmer, known for his work in major Hollywood films.

Actor Yash, who plays the role of Ravana in the film, was also present at the Chennai event. He expressed his respect for Rahman and shared how his music helped him learn the Tamil language. Yash noted: 'We are all big fans of AR Rahman sir. Thanks to his songs, I learned Tamil. I danced to songs from the film 'Gentleman'. Your contribution to the Tamil Nadu industry is huge.'

He continued, explaining why Rahman's music is so important to him. The actor said: 'When I listen to Tamil songs in Hindi, I feel like something is missing. I am glad that you are composing music for 'Ramayana', and I get the opportunity to act in it.'

The actor also expressed joy at the opportunity to work on the film with Rahman's music. 'When I played the role of Ravana, many asked why I wanted to play the role of Ravana, because we all know it is ultimately the most hated role. But I can only say that we are all just playing a role. There is different energy everywhere. This song gave me that energy. Playing the role of Ravana, I listened to this Shiva song. AR Rahman sir, thank you very much for such a magnificent song. I used to listen to many Shiva songs before, and now I listen to this 'Shiva Tandav', which gives me energy.'

The film is scheduled for release on Diwali, November 5th. The cast includes Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sani Deol as Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshmana. Other actors in the film include Arun Govil, Lara Datta, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek Oberoi, Kunaal Kapoor, and Kajal Aggarwal.
