CCXP26 announced this Wednesday, the 21st, the arrival of Christopher Lloyd, a world-renowned actor for playing the scientist Emmett “Doc” Brown in the Back to the Future saga. This will be the first time the actor visits Brazil during the festival, which will take place from December 3rd to 6th at São Paulo Expo, in the capital city of São Paulo.
During the four days of the event, Lloyd will be available for autograph and photo sessions. His participation is also confirmed on the Thunder stage on December 4th and the Omelete stage on the 6th.
With a professional career spanning over five decades, Christopher Lloyd gained notoriety for portraying peculiar characters in both cinema and television. His most emblematic role is that of Doc Brown, the inventor of the time machine built from a DeLorean, introduced in the Back to the Future trilogy, which began in 1985.
Besides Doc Brown, the actor also played Uncle Fester in The Addams Family, the antagonist Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, and Commander Klingon Kruge in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. On television, he acted in Taxi, which earned him two Emmy awards, and more recently participated in The Mandalorian, part of the Star Wars universe.
Roberto Fabri, Vice President of Content at CCXP, mentioned that Lloyd is one of the most anticipated guests by the festival's audience. Additionally, the 2026 edition will include a special program celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, bringing together Elijah Wood, Dominic Monaghan, and Billy Boyd, who play Frodo, Merry, and Pippin, respectively.
Billy Boyd will participate in panels on December 4th, in addition to photo and autograph sessions on the 3rd and 4th. The agenda will also feature performances related to the musical Hadestown and a panel dedicated to the film biography of player Marta, featuring the athlete and actress Alice Carvalho.
CCXP26 will take place from December 3rd to 6th, 2026, at São Paulo Expo, located on Rodovia dos Imigrantes, km 1.5, in São Paulo. There will also be Spoiler Night, scheduled for December 2nd, exclusively for guests and holders of specific tickets. Available tickets cover daily options, a four-day pass, and options with extra benefits. It is important to note that photo and autograph sessions are paid services separately, following the guidelines of each credential. Participation in panels is subject to auditorium capacity and possible changes in the programming schedule.
