Around the year 2005, a devout family made a donation of a plot of land located near the highway in Baleshwar, in the Surat region. The objective of this donation was to enable the construction of a Jain temple, along with its support facilities.
The planned auxiliary structures included dharamshalas, which serve as accommodations, a bhojanshala, intended for the community kitchen and dining hall, and the vyakhyan kendra, a hall dedicated to spiritual discourses.
In sign of gratitude for the gesture, the responsible lead monk made a promise to the family, offering them a small private plot within the constructed complex. Subsequently, the family decided to build their residence twenty years after the initial donation of the land.
