Uzbekistan's Passport Ranking Drops in Global List Compiled by Henley & Partners

Uzbekistan has worsened its standing in the authoritative global passport ranking prepared by the international consulting company 'Henley & Partners'. In the updated list, the country ranked 82nd out of a total of 106 states.

Compared to the results obtained in 2025, Uzbekistan dropped three positions; previously, the republic held the 79th spot in the ranking.

Currently, citizens of Uzbekistan can visit 57 countries worldwide without needing a prior visa or with a visa on arrival. In the current index, the Uzbek passport shares the 82nd rank with the documents of Burkina Faso and Togo.

Singapore holds the leading position in the world ranking, whose passports grant visa-free entry to 193 states. At the bottom of the list is Afghanistan, whose citizens have visa-free destinations in 22 countries.

Furthermore, it was noted that since September 15, citizens of Uzbekistan now need to apply for a visa in advance for trips to Thailand. Egypt has introduced a similar restriction, which will take effect on November 1.
