After losing the first match to China, Iran secured second place in Group B thanks to today's victory and managed to advance to the tournament's semi-finals.
Iran's head coach, Maryam Iranmanesh, commented on the game, noting: 'We played well and won the match. Since yesterday's match against China was unsatisfactory, we promised to show our best performance against Mongolia, and I am pleased with my team.'
