Xiaomi is preparing to launch a new smartphone named REDMI K100. The official presentation date is set for October 27 in China. Previously, two devices in this series—the REDMI K100 Pro and Pro Max—were introduced and went on sale in August.
The company shared information about key specifications, particularly concerning the battery and display. The REDMI K100 model will feature an impressive 165 Hz OLED display, which supports high-performance gaming sessions thanks to its high-resolution design.
Before the official start of sales, the company revealed the device's technical specifications, including display capabilities, hardware, and software features. Promotional posters featured the edition in flame green colors, and the image showed the use of a metal body. Additionally, the device will be equipped with audio experience from the Boss brand.
REDMI K100 Display Specifications
The REDMI K100 display will have a refresh rate of 165 Hz. It also supports a touch sampling rate of 480 Hz and an instantaneous touch sampling rate of 3500 Hz. The maximum screen brightness will be 3500 nits. For eye protection, the device has received Xiaomi Green Mountain Eye Protection 4.0 certification.
REDMI K100 Processor
The power of the REDMI K100 is provided by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite platform. The system includes the main SoC chip as well as the D2 gaming graphics chip.
Regarding the battery, it was previously announced that this device will use a 10,000 mAh battery. This significantly exceeds the standard 5,000 mAh used by many other brands, guaranteeing users extended battery life.
