When Yash performs the Tandav, sometimes with a drum and sometimes with a trishula, his appearance as Ravana delights the audience. The music of this track is equally powerful. Composer AR Rahman explained why he is called 'the best of the best'. He created a separate composition for Ravan's Shiva Tandav. The musical score was also curated by Oscar laureate Hans Zimmer.
The song Shiva Tandav was sung by the popular favorite Vishal Dadlani, who is known for his high-energy beats. The lyrics of the song were written by Dr. Kumar Vishwas.
