Two Iranian athletes won silver and bronze medals in women's javelin throw at the Asian Paralympic Games 2026 in Nagoya, Tokyo.
Moradi and Motaghian won medals in javelin throw
The paraathletics competitions continued during the day with the women's javelin throw event in classification F55/F56. Zeinab Moradi of the Iranian national team took second place, throwing the implement 22.96 meters, which earned her a silver medal.
Her compatriot, Hashemieh Motaghian, won third place with a result of 22.94 meters, thus receiving a bronze award. The gold medal was won by Chinese athlete Lai Xiaozhuang, who threw the javelin 26.81 meters.
A total of 10 athletes participated in this competition.
