Paid parking introduced in three new zones in Al Ain starting October 26

The Abu Dhabi Mobility authority has notified Al Ain residents about the launch of paid parking in three new sectors of the city. This system will become effective on October 26, and parking payments will be made through the Darb application.

The cost for standard parking spaces will be 2 dirhams per hour. This measure is aimed at improving the daily commuting experience, as well as facilitating access to facilities and institutions for local residents, guests, and employees.

Previously, Q Mobility implemented the 'Free Flow Paid Parking' system, which allows automatic payment of fees via the Darb wallet. Q Mobility, operating under the supervision of the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, announced the activation of this payment system on June 3, eliminating the need for machines or manual payment.

Q Mobility emphasized the importance of maintaining a sufficient balance in the Darb wallet before using the service to ensure uninterrupted service and avoid violations related to non-payment. The tariffs are 2 dirhams per hour, with a maximum amount of 15 dirhams every 24 hours, and the service is available 24/7 throughout the year.
