According to data from the international logistics platform ATI.SU, orders for road freight transport from Uzbekistan increased by 29% in the third quarter of 2026 compared to the same period last year.
The company's report specifically noted the growth in demand for the Russia and, in particular, Belarus routes. Orders for transporting goods to Russia rose by 26%, while those to Belarus increased by 80%.
At the same time, the cost of freight transport on export routes increased by 10% year-on-year. The import situation is different: in the third quarter, orders for delivering goods from abroad to Uzbekistan decreased by 8%, including a 4% reduction in orders for importing goods from Russia.
However, the situation changed in September. The overall demand for delivering goods from abroad to Uzbekistan grew by 39%, and orders for delivery from Russia increased by 47%. It is emphasized that the sharp increase in demand for transportation in September contributed to an improvement in the situation related to diesel fuel.
Furthermore, the demand for domestic cargo transportation within the country is also growing. In the third quarter, the number of such orders increased by 12% compared to the second quarter. These figures are based on orders placed on the company's statistical platform, as well as the increase in the number of users of this platform.
