LigaFest 2026 will take place in São Paulo with R$ 200 thousand in prizes and free entry

The fifth edition of LigaFest, an event focused on Trading Card Games (TCGs) or collectible card games, is confirmed for December 12 and 13, 2026. The festival will be held at the Frei Caneca Convention Center in São Paulo.

The organization announced that the event will return with expanded infrastructure, in addition to competitive tournaments and various activities aimed at players, collectors, and industry professionals. In the previous edition, held in July, the festival gathered over 14 thousand participants and generated R$ 3.5 million in card transactions.

One of the significant changes will be the use of two floors of the convention center. One of these spaces will be dedicated entirely to competitions, while the other will host stands, artistic performances, activations, and attractions for the general public.

The competitive part will include the finals of the LigaFest Circuits, totaling R$ 200 thousand in prizes distributed across different card games. The titles covered in the competitions are Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, One Piece, Star Wars: Unlimited, Disney Lorcana, Riftbound, and Dragon Ball. Additionally, there will be open tournaments, allowing any visitor to participate in the contests without prior qualification.

The separation of spaces will also allow the public to explore the commerce, collecting, and entertainment areas without the obligation of attending the tournaments.

An important addition to the program is LigaFest for Sellers, a specific meeting for sellers, companies, and professionals operating in the card game market. This event will take place on December 11, one day before the official opening of the festival, and will offer lectures, workshops, and networking opportunities.

Diogo Abreu Meyer Pires, CEO of LigaFest, stated that the objective of this initiative is to foster closer ties between industry professionals and stimulate debates about the growth of the Brazilian TCG market.

LigaFest will maintain free entry for the public, with guaranteed access during the two days of the event starting at 10 am. However, a VIP ticket option will be available, allowing early entry at 8 am, before the general time. Those who purchase this ticket can access the stands earlier, participate in exclusive activations, and receive kits containing products from LigaFest and its partners.

The organization informed that it will later release additional details about the program schedule, tournaments, and different ticket modalities. With the structural expansion and the inclusion of activities directed at the professional audience, LigaFest aims to consolidate its position in the Brazilian collectible card game market.
