In the Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh state, an unusual initiative was implemented under the Mission Shakti Phase-6 program, aimed at boosting self-confidence among girls and encouraging their leadership. In Asti primary school, fourth and fifth-grade students were entrusted with the duties of the school's Director (DM) and Deputy Principal for one day.
During this event, the students were able to understand administrative and academic responsibilities and also showcase their talents. Among them was student Rahemin, who acted as the deputy principal, teaching the children and listening to their problems. The program also motivated the students toward development and understanding of their duties.
Rahemin, who served as the deputy principal for a day, conducted lessons and listened attentively to the children. This activity allowed the students to gain practical experience in school duties and leadership. At the same time, Sonakshi had the opportunity to act as the director. This event was organized at the initiative of the school director Asia Faruki with the aim of encouraging the students to develop and build confidence in decision-making.
In addition to education and developing leadership qualities, the program placed special emphasis on women's safety issues. The students received information about hotlines related to the protection of women and girls. Thus, they were taught how to seek help if problems arose and why it is important to remain vigilant regarding safety.
A Dandiya festival was also held in the schoolyard, in which the children actively participated. Thus, the program included both educational sessions and cultural events. Thanks to this initiative within Mission Shakti Phase-6, the students had the chance to realize how important confidence, awareness, and leadership skills are for fulfilling their responsibilities. This school activity helped the children learn, demonstrate their talent, and strive for progress.
