This year, the theme of Durga Puja in Ballygunge 71 Palli is called 'Samudra Darpan' (Mirror of the Ocean).
Under the inspiration of artist Diman Sutara, Dutch visual artist Femke van Gemert collected plastic from homes to decorate a special area of the pavilion. Their message is clear: saving the oceans from plastic is a shared responsibility.
