During the first meeting of the Council of Investors in the Fuel and Energy Industry, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with a delegation led by Muhammad Abunayyan, co-chairman of the Uzbek-Saudi Business Council and chairman of the board of ACWA.
The meeting discussed issues of further deepening practical cooperation and accelerating the implementation of key joint projects. Recently, the business community of Saudi Arabia has shown growing interest in the Uzbek market, which is stimulating large investment programs in areas such as green energy, modern infrastructure solutions, high technologies, and healthcare.
The participants confirmed their determination to raise bilateral cooperation to a higher level through the prompt and effective execution of adopted agreements. At the end of the meeting, Saudi investors thanked the republic's leadership for creating favorable conditions for investment activities.
