boAt enters Sri Lanka and Bhutan markets, international revenue doubles in FY26

boAt, a manufacturer of audio and wearable devices, announced on Thursday its entry into the markets of Sri Lanka and Bhutan. The expansion includes personal audio products, smartwatches, and chargers as part of its international expansion, while the company's international revenue more than doubled in fiscal year 2026.

In an official statement, the company specified that it will gradually expand its product range in each of these markets based on local consumer characteristics, category opportunities, and market response.

These two countries complement boAt's existing international presence in Southeast Asia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) regions.

boAt CEO Gaurav Nayar emphasized that international expansion for the company does not just mean placing the same goods on more shelves. He stated: 'For us, international expansion is about building market by market, understanding local consumers, and creating significance in every geographical point.'

He added that the company's ambitions are clear: 'Our goal is to transform boAt into a global Indian consumer lifestyle technology brand that competes on product, design, innovation, and consumer understanding.'

In fiscal year 2026, boAt reported that its wearables business became profitable, and new categories, including charging solutions, contributed to forming a 'growing pool of profit outside the core audio portfolio.'

Going forward, boAt plans to deepen its presence in existing international markets while selectively evaluating new geographical directions in South Asia, Southeast Asia, the GCC, and other high-potential markets.

Kolte-Patil sales grew by 52% in the second quarter of fiscal year 27 despite declining housing demand

Kolte-Patil Developers Limited (KPDL), based in Pune, reported record sales figures for the quarter and half-year in Q2 FY27, even amid slowing market demand. In its operational report for the September quarter, published on Tuesday, the company noted the resilience of its business.

In Q2 FY27, the developer registered sales worth 1,019 crore rupees, representing a 52% increase compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, sales for the first half of FY27 reached a record 1,636 crore rupees, an increase of 27% year-on-year.

Hrishikesh Parandekar, CEO of Kolte-Patil Developers Limited, stated that the strong results in Q2 and H1 FY27, including record sales and high cash inflows, reflect the company's resilience. He noted that the successful launch of the 'Vyana at The Reserve' project and stable sales across the current portfolio demonstrate the brand's appeal and the relevance of the products offered.

The company also achieved its highest ever sales launch, receiving 616 crore rupees from 'Vyana at The Reserve' in Wadgaon, Pune, where approximately 1 million square feet of real estate was offered. Parandekar added that while short-term demand has softened in the broader market, especially in Pune, the company continues to maintain strong business momentum as the long-term foundations of India's real estate market remain favorable due to urbanization, growing aspirations, and the preference for quality housing.

Cash inflows grew by 33% year-on-year, reaching 795 crore rupees in Q2 FY27, and amounted to 1,509 crore rupees in the first half of FY27, which is 32% more than the previous year. KPDL also improved its average revenue in the first half of FY27, increasing it by 10% year-on-year to approximately 8,368 rupees per square foot. The company attributed this to strategic price adjustments across projects and the greater contribution of Mumbai projects compared to the previous year.

To strengthen its portfolio in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), the company added six redevelopment projects with a total estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of 6,000 crore rupees.
