The CEO of Angel One, Ambarish Kenge, stated that artificial intelligence (AI) will trigger massive changes and generate entirely new types of jobs that are difficult to imagine today.
During a fireside chat at the Techsparks 2026 event with Shraddha Sharma, founder and CEO of YourStory and The Bharat Project, Kenge did not downplay AI's impact on the labor market. Nevertheless, he expressed optimism about the growing demand for intellectual labor, which will require self-improvement from every individual.
He noted that increased efficiency due to AI will lead to its greater adoption, which in turn may contribute to the creation of more jobs. According to him, the demand will exceed all current perceptions because, as he observed: 'More jobs will be created, but we cannot imagine what requirements will be placed on human intellectual labor.'
Discussing the use of AI for wealth creation, the head of Angel One emphasized that the technology has solved the problem of access to various avenues of enrichment, but it has not yet solved the issue of information and intellect. He believes that AI is capable of reducing the wealth gap by providing investors with information on how to allocate their capital considering all risks. 'If it (AI) can provide you with this information, I think it eliminates that gap.'
Kenge added that institutional investors have advantages in terms of capital, strategies, and human resources for generating profits, and now AI has the potential to provide similar opportunities to retail investors.
Speaking about using technology to create consumer-friendly products, he explained that developing a simple product is a complex process. He concluded: 'The biggest challenge is finding the right pain point and solving it really well,' adding that the more often failure occurs, the higher the chance of success.
