Clueso, a business-oriented platform for creating videos using agents, has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Dharana Capital, with new investors including Founders Future and Neotribe Ventures. Y Combinator and f7 Ventures also participated in the round.
Thanks to this round, the total amount of funds raised reached $12 million. The startup was founded in 2023 by individuals such as Akash Anand, Prajwal Prakash, and Neel Balar, and it has offices in California and Bangalore.
The raised funds are planned to be used to expand the company's reach in the corporate market, deepen agent functionality, and improve editing capabilities. Over a thousand companies use the Clueso platform to create video materials intended for marketing, customer support, training, onboarding new employees, and other needs.
Among Clueso's clients are Atlassian, Zendesk, Gainsight, GlobalPartners, Seismic, and Ironclad. The company claims that users report productivity increases of more than five times and an 80% reduction in video production costs.
Co-founder and CEO of Clueso, Akash Anand, noted that initially, the company helped teams interacting with customers create product training materials faster. He added: 'We quickly discovered the same problem in marketing, sales, training, and internal documentation. This allowed us to realize that the possibilities are much broader. Today, Clueso functions as an AI-powered video production team that any employee or team in an organization can rely on to handle tasks related to creating, editing, and maintaining videos as the business evolves.'
Clueso develops AI agents capable of understanding a company's products, processes, brand, and context, using this knowledge to create and maintain video content within the organization.
Vamsi Duvvuri, founder and managing partner of Dharana Capital, stated: 'With the development of AI, video is transforming from static media files into living, context-aware assets that continuously adapt as business processes and products change. Clueso is creating the infrastructure that enables this transition.'
