According to the Ministry of Health's report, approximately 5.2 million injuries caused by medical errors are recorded annually. These errors include both incorrect use of medications and hospital-acquired infections.
In this regard, the Ministry of Health has urged the National Medical Council (NMC) to strengthen patient safety mechanisms in medical educational institutions and hospitals.
