Nefte lost to Al-Nassr 3-1 in the AFC Champions League Elite

The team Nefte from Fergana, Uzbekistan, lost to Al-Nassr from Saudi Arabia with a score of 3:1 in the second round of the 2026/27 AFC Champions League Elite tournament. The match took place on October 13 at King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh.

The home team opened the scoring in the 34th minute. Nawaf Bushal advanced down the right flank and passed to Angelo, who finished the attack accurately, giving Al-Nassr the advantage.

Cristiano Ronaldo doubled the home team's lead in the 42nd minute. After a cross from Sadio Mane, Ayman Yahya controlled the ball with his chest, allowing the Portuguese forward to score with a powerful shot.

Nefte managed to score a goal late in the first half, but this goal was disallowed after a VAR check because Aborbek Ismoilov was offside earlier in the attack.

After the break, the Nefte coaching staff made two substitutions: Alisher Odilov and Farrukh Saifiyev came onto the field for Medieros Sasse and Ibrohimkhaliil Yuldoshev.

Odilov helped reduce the deficit in the 51st minute. After a cross from Jamshid Iskanderov, Nawaf Bushal could not handle the ball with his head, and the ball fell to a Nefte player who powerfully shot past Bento Crepski.

The guests' task became more difficult in the 65th minute when Ikromjon Alibaev received a direct red card for a dangerous tackle on Al-Nassr defender Mohamed Simakan.

Al-Nassr capitalized on the numerical advantage, scoring the third goal in the 78th minute. Sadio Mane passed the ball to Samu Costa in the penalty area, and the Portuguese midfielder directed the ball into the net. Anwarjon Gofurov, trying to prevent Ronaldo from capitalizing on the pass, deflected the ball into his own net.

In the end, Al-Nassr won 3-1, earning its first points in this tournament season. Nefte suffered a defeat in the second round in Riyadh.
